Crickhowell itself is a beautiful historic town set in the Brecon Beacons National Park and in the heart of the Usk Valley. Surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery, river valleys and canal network are accessible to all. Crickhowell's name is taken from the nearby Iron Age hill fort of Crug Hywel above the town.
Crickhowell is easy to get to by road, being on the A40, less than one hour from the Severn Bridge.
If you are looking for somewhere to stay or something to eat or drink look no further than 'The Bear'. A beautiful hotel only 20 yards from our store. A great place to stay with very comfortable Vi-Spring beds, supplied by Webbs.
Crickhowell features a beautiful seventeenth-century stone bridge over the Usk River. There are also a number of lovely churches, good pubs, restaurants and hotels.
There is an abundance of outdoor activities, enjoy some easy or more strenuous walking, mountain-biking, camping, hillwalking, rock climbing, fly-fishing, hang-gliding, caravanning or simply tour the area by car.   
In addition to the Webbs family store there are many other independent and most interesting stores in which you can spend literally hours.
