Vale Bridgecraft have been making quality sofas and chairs in their workshops in West Yorkshire for more than 100 years. This area is famous for its skills in joinery and textiles and has a long-established heritage in furniture making.
Vale Bridgecraft today reflects 146 years of quality furniture manufacturing and, as in the past, means people passionate about upholstery, determined to offer the kind of special quality that remains (as the old saying goes) hard to define but easy to recognise.

Sara
The Sara combines curvaceous modern styling with a deep buttoned sculptured back for extra comfort and support. Turned wooden legs are available in a choice of colours. As with all our products, these durable chairs and sofas feature traditional quality construction inside and out and ‘Reflex’ foam seat cushions are supported by steel spring systems – ensuring lasting comfort.

Amalfi
The Amalfi has Vale’s signature double wrap padding for a sumptuous look and added comfort. Shown here with cording which highlights the fine detailing around the scroll arm, back and the cushions, self-coloured piping is also an option. The high buttoned back effectively supports the contours of the spine and lumbar region. Mix and match with the various options available. As with all our products, these durable chairs and sofas feature traditional quality construction inside and out using hardwood frames and are glued, double dowelled and screwed. ‘Reflex’ foam seat cushions are supported by coil springs combined with sprung front edge – ensuring lasting comfort. The buttoned back design offers elegant and supportive comfort, in a sofa dimensioned to suit the smaller room. The Amalfi range is available with power or manual recliner actions on sofas or chairs.
